A CD made in the winter of 2015—16 in the Studio of master harpsichord-maker Michael Johnson. On his Ruckers-inspired "R33", which has a single keyboard with 8' and 4' strings, Timothy Roberts plays Byrd's The Woods So Wild, Kinborough Good, Fantasia in A minor and Roland; while on the double-manual "R32" he offers eight movements from Couperin's glorious early C minor Ordre, and Bach's Sixth Partita (minus the Aria added only when the composer had the work engraved).
Click here for an interview with Michael Johnson about "R32" and "R33".
